BSquare Credit Services Limited was founded in 2020 and commenced operations that same year. The founder behind the lending institution, Mr. Bryce Bupe, is an experienced banker with over 10 years experience in the sector.

The business was initially started by extending credit to lower income earners in markets, then to civil servants and eventually to those on salaried employment in the private sector as well as Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

The emphasis of the model was to bridge the financing requirements gap for immediate needs hence concentrating on salary advances to assist those in salaried employment. Our core values are the provision of financing to financially excluded sectors, individuals and communities. We mainly focus on underserved and/or unserved areas, which are rural areas and remote parts of the country in order to ensure access to financing for all.
